After going two days without further remake news I was beginning to doubt Hollywood’s will. However all is right again as the scuttlebutt surrounds the possible Child’s Play remake. In an interview at AICN, Don Mancini, Michelle Gold and Dave Kirchner spoke briefly about the 20th anniversary widescreen release with all the fixins, and their plans for the remake. Brad Dourif is apparently set to again provide the voice of Chucky, in direct contrast to the Nightmare on Elm Street remake which will movie forward sans-Englund. In commenting on this choice, Mancini offered, “”If you could recast it,you would want the actor to sound kind of like it, but it would feel weird to just be completely different I think.”
