Here’s some news that made me pay attention this morning. Apparently the studios are proving, once again, that if it’s not a surefire way to make some quick cash, they’re going to pass. The latest victim of this is Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming adaption ‘Kick-Ass’ based on the comic by Mark Millar. Negotiations are continuing to land everyone’s favoriet ‘McLovin’, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, to star in the film, and they’ve already nailed down Chloe Moretz. It seems as though the studios may have passed, but Vaughn decided the film needs to be made so he raised the money himself. Read on for a film I’m anxiously awaiting.
