Someone get me my bottle of Nitrostat because I’m about to have a heart attack.
Last year, Abrams tauted his Star Trek reboot at Comic-Con, though not to the extent that most of us wish he had. A few comments, shrouded in an air of secrecy themselves, shouldn’t really count as anything, except it got the Trekkies in a tizzy. This year, however, there is no panel and consider its hitting screens next summer before Comic-Con, it seems more and more like Abrams knows people are going to be pissed with his interpretation. When he says things like “Sorry, but hopefully when [fans] eventually do see more, it will be that much more exciting”, I interpret it as, “I have no idea what I’m doing and I don’t want to piss people off early on.”
