Leave it to Yûdai Yamaguchi, director of such cult craziness as Battlefield Baseball, Cromartie High: The Movie, and Meatball Machine (read Morbid’s review here), to realize that J-horror is quickly growing stale and direct one that appears to be completely tongue-in-cheek. Based on the manga “Akanbo Shoujo” from horror legend Kazuo Umezu (whose work Yamaguchi has adapted before in the Kazuo Umezu’s Horror Theater series), Tamami: The Baby’s Curse deals with, you guessed it, a cursed baby wreaking havok on some unsuspecting victims.
