Back off Kung Fu Panda, hip-hop master RZA is taking his obsession of kung-fu flicks to the next level. RZA is trying his hands at writing-directing his own kung-fu flick, and I was pretty down until this little piece of information, via an E-mail response from a director I like, but a lot of people hate, Eli Roth:

What the ^&#&? Please God no. I realize that he’s going to be doing a homage to the genre, and if there’s anyone that can rip off (read homage) something, it’s Tarantino, but seriously, couldn’t he have found a more well-rounded teacher?
