Well, that seems to be the rumor going around. Cinema Blend is reporting that they were told that McConaughey was the leading candidate to play the role of Mr. Red White and Blue. Admittedly, I am not a big comic book hero fan. Aside from knowing who they are and a little about their immediate backgrounds, I am somewhat clueless about a lot of these heroes origins and relationships with one another. Captain America, to me, was just a guy who fought Nazis and had a really cool arch-enemy, Red Skull.
