Another day, another trip to the New Beverly Cinema, another double-feature grindhouse bill! This time it was for Simon, King of the Witches (which just hit video yesterday. I highly recommend picking up a copy) and Grizzly, two of the funniest films I’ve ever seen (but, I won’t get ahead of myself, the reviews will be coming later). Standing in line, outside the theater, I was pretty surprised to see how long the line actually was, and seeing some people trying to drink beer, but spilling it all over themselves was pretty funny as well. One of the cool things about waiting in line outside theater, one can usually pick up some tidbits about other exploitation films just by eavsdropping on the conversations being had. Alas, I didn’t find out anything of importance this time, but I will be listening very carefully at the next show.
