Judd Apatow’s name has become a comedy brand of sorts over the last few years, with mixed results. His directorial efforts have, however, all been very strong and huge box office draws. Since both of these flicks, however, Apatow has produced two misfires: Walk Hard (which is becoming a cult movie as we speak) and Drillbit Taylor (which was a poorly made SuperBad redux). I’m not saying I’ve lost faith in the guy but I’m just really hoping his judgment hasn’t flown completely off kilter. Last night brought news of Apatow’s newest directorial project, which has been known as The Untitled Judd Apatow/Adam Sandler Project.
